CNC Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Program, set-up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and CNC lathe machines as per Layouts with minimal supervision.

  • Ensure machines, workstation and measuring tools are clean for following use.

  • Provide accurate concrete precast slab abrasive tools for next step.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as determined by company.

  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.

  • Ability to maintain organized and accurate records.

  • Willingness to learn and accept instruction.

  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Competencies:

  • At least 5+ year experiences with programming, setting and operating CNC lathe machines.

  • Able to use measuring tools including micrometers, height gauges, verniers, bore gauges, thread gauges, etc.

  • Ability to operate the machine independently, accurate handwriting, read and interpret drawings.

  • Good communication abilities, Strong attention to detail. Must be self-driven.

  • A commitment to Quality, Health & Safety, and Teamwork.

  • Experience in CNC machine operation and processes, especially in CNC HOT WIRE FOAM CUTTER is preferred.
